Dear PhD’s, Junior Lecturers and Junior Researchers,

 

Due to the Corona virus crisis and enforced lockdown, we had to unfortunately cancel the annual PhD day. We are currently working on organizing this event again on the 13th of October 2020. In the mean time we would still like to provide staff with the opportunity to improve their soft skills via online workshops.

 

Workshop on Effective  Communication

Together with IB mediation we will offer a 2 hour online workshop provided by Ine Bolssens  to the PhDs, junior lecturers and junior researchers of our faculty. This workshop will entail:

  • some explanation on the different styles of communication and how can one recognize them
  • a test to discover one’s own spectrum of communication styles
  • working in groups and participating in a style panel

This workshop will be conducted via Zoom

Workshop capacity: 16 people

Online Scientific Writing Course

Artesc (https://www.artesc.org/) is providing PhD’s with the opportunity to participate in an online scientific writing course. Staff interested in this course can view the attachment for more details.

 

Working Consciously & Effectively From Home

This online training is organized by the Career services and aims to helps you in dealing with the current working from home situation. This can help to prevent stress and increase your productivity.
